1950s 9ct Gold MC Childs Expanding Bangle VGC
This is a classic child's vintage bangle, Christening gift? It dates from the 1950s, maker's mark AJ. It is constructed from 9ct Gold with a reinforced metal core making it sturdy and heavy. It has diamond cut engraving on the outside and plain inner. Can expand to fit many wrist sizes and is in very good condition for a 60 year old bangle. It is crafted from solid and sturdy 14ct Yellow Gold (US hallmarked) and is made up of 50 separate links each set with a round brilliant cut white diamond of 2 points each - total 1 carat. It is a very old and extremely well made vintage bangle consisting of a jeweller's brass base with 9ct gold rolled to a huge 50 micron thickness.
